Sounds interesting. You could probably do some very worthwhile interfacing project project here to connect an ST to modern PC hardware with a modest amount of effort. I'm sure my mate Russ would be interested in the final results..He's a ST enthusiast :D

I have no idea what I'm doing :) Right now, if I can get an AVR connected to my ST's cartridge port without either setting on fire, I'll consider that a breakthrough.

This will be an on-and-off project to do over the summer holidays.

I suppose that if you wanted to do something utterly silly with a (high-speed) connection to a modern PC, then you could take a PC game, grab each frame after it is drawn, convert the graphics down 320x200@16 bit colour, then squirt it frame by frame to the ST so it could display them, and then use the mouse and keyboard controls to control the action at the PC end. Even as monochrome, it might perhaps work.. ;)
